Shower Caddy & Hair Update

Yesterday I mentioned that I was tired of carrying my shower caddy into the bathroom and I noticed that some people might not know what that is, so I will explain and then showcase what I have in my shower caddy. Basically, there is one bathroom in my house so it's shared with everyone and I have some of my shower products stored in my room, which I take to the restroom once I am going to take a shower. I have all of my things inside a small basket....
So here are some of the things that I keep in my shower caddy...
My shampoos and conditioner, my styling creme, my paddle brush, my detangling comb, and a wide tooth comb.

Honey Apple Body Wash
Apricot Scrub
Mint Chocolate Flavored Lip Balm

Shower Caddy Process:

I use my lip balm after getting out of the shower just to add moisture to my lips.
Before getting into the shower I use my Apricot Scrub although I don't use it all the time. I am about to run out.
My body wash is actually Johnson's Baby Wash, but that doesn't mean an adult can't use it. I love it because it lasts a long time and it has a pump so I can easily put it on my net bath sponge.
I use my wide tooth comb when I get in the shower right before washing my hair so that every piece of hair can get wet and because my hair might be tangled a bit. Then I add the shampoo that I am using that day and spread it throughout my hair with the detangling comb then I wash out my shampoo and add my conditioner and again I spread out the conditioner with my detangling brush
Once I get out of the shower I brush my hair out with my paddle brush, but if my hair is too tangled I add some styling creme to remove the knots.

*Update*
Yesterday I went to the store and bought the conditioner that I included in the pictures above and I used it later that night. The conditioner is awesome, I added some throughout my hair and I couldn't feel it in my hair at all, it felt as if my hair absorbed it. Once I washed it out my hair was so soft and there weren't as many tangles as usual. When I got out of the shower and brushed my hair I didn't need to add any styling creme because my hair was so soft that I didn't even need to brush it.
Here is what my hair looks like as of today...
I made a weird face so I covered it with this beautiful leopard.
Notice that my hair is naturally curly and you can see how short it is on one side of my head. I grabbed some hair on another side of my head and held it to show how long it is if straightened. My hair hits right above my chest area as you can see in the picture.

Horse Shampoo: Two Day Update

As I said before I am going to be using my new Horse Shampoo and updating how my hair is throughout the process. I started using the Shampoo on Sunday and I heard that instead of using it every time I wash my hair I need to alternate or else it can damage my hair, so, I used Albeto's V05 Shampoo (the family shampoo) last night because I didn't want to take my shower caddy into the shower with me since it is pretty heavy with all my shampoos and body wash.
We just bought the V05 shampoo and it works for my hair, but I have my own that I want to finish before I start using the one above. Tonight I will use the Horse Shampoo again and then tomorrow I will use my shampoo which is the Suave Professionals: Almond+Shea Butter bottle.
Anyways, back to the 2 Day Review...
I take showers at night and always clean my hair so, I'm already used to using shampoo daily. I used my Hairvitalize: Horse Shampoo Sunday night and after taking a shower I dried, brushed, and braided my hair. I usually put my hair up in a bun to go to sleep, which I will do today to test out which method is better. Before braiding it I added Sunsilk's Hydra TLC Styling creme because it helps smooth out my hair and removes knots and tangles.
The thing that I did notice was that my hair was dryer than usual, but I didn't use any conditioner which I need to buy this weekend so next week I'll let you all know how that goes and if there is a difference after using the Horse Shampoo and Conditioner. When I woke up the next morning I noticed that my hair was a bit frizzy, I'm going to see if that was because of the braid by wearing a bun tonight. When I braid my hair after showering my hair dries faster and makes my hair too curly.
I hope this helps and I will keep updating everyone.

I really want to grow out my hair, so I decided to buy some horse shampoo because I  heard it works. So, tonight I am going to try it out and see what it does to my hair. I know my hair isn't going to grow right away and this is probably not going to make my hair grow any faster, but it's worth a try. I got this shampoo for $1, so I'm not really wasting a lot. I will try to do weekly updates and a small review about it at the end of this week.

Thrifting Wednesday

Hello everyone,
On Wednesdays one of the thrift store near my house has a bunch of items that are 50% off. I really wanted to go today, but I have work to do and it is too hot to walk there. So instead I went to one that is near my house and next to the bus stop that I got off at. I had gone the day before and I found 2 plastic hands (a purple one and a green one) that holds your rings for $1.50 each, but decided not to buy them that day. So, today I went back to get them and they were gone I was so sad and the lady that sells there isn't much help. I hate that thrift store because of her lame customer service and the fact that she watches you until you actually like something and charges you a high price. So, I ended up looking around and I got a pink hard shell case for a pair of sun glasses that I have for $1.

The inside is a light skin tone color and the outside is a lighter pink. I think the picture above adds dark shadows to it.
And I found a beautiful necklace while browsing the shelves. It was inside a small Ziploc bag and it is pretty dirty and is missing a stone, but I couldn't leave it. It  looks like something off of Jewel Mint, but it was only $1.  I can't wait to wear it.

Lavender Hair

I know that the last time I came on I wanted to cut and dye my hair which I did, but it wasn't what I wanted so know I finally figured out what I want to do to my hair although it isn't going to happen for a while. I want to let my hair grow out so it can look something like Demi Lovato's long layered hair, which I love. I also want to dye my hair an odd color, but none the less very me. I love purple and lavender is a nice pale shade of that color. If I could I would dye it right now, but I know that I won't be allowed to do it and it wouldn't come out right. So, here are a few pictures of the hair I want and a video that makes me want it even more...Enjoy!
I found the picture below and I thought it was pretty and I would love to do that hair color as well....

And finally the video that i might use one day...

At the Moment...

TOMS have been a huge trend for a couple of years now, and I do think that they are my style and a good cause, so, this weekend my sister wanted to go buy herself a fake pair since her old ones had gotten ruined due to the rain. I tagged along and after walking into Payless and seeing a cute pair I bought them. So, now I'm obsessed with them, even though they are not going to last a long time, I can already tell. So here they are my new pair of shoes...
