Blogmas Day 18: Roadtrip

Hello everyone!
I am starting to get excited about going to Mexico, once we get to our house my vacation won't be as stressful as it is right now. I can get to my house and decorate my room with the two tiny Christmas trees I bought and see what other things I can do. The trip to our small town is stressful because you never know what will happen on the road, it's scary no matter how many times we drive down there.
Today I checked my school account just in case our grades were posted and I ended up passing all my classes which just made me a little less stressed. I still feel like I have a lot more to do before leaving tomorrow, but that's just because I need to remember to pack my pjs, toothbrush, and deodorant tomorrow morning after using them. I also want to take a small bag with me with a few magazines, books, and my iPod and its  earphones/charger which I feel that I might forget or loose which just scares me.
I also want to download loads of music including Christmas music because I won't have wifi while I'm over there, but time just flew by and I don't know if I can find the music I want by tomorrow. I also wanted to download a few offline games, but I can't find anything that interests me.
I hope everything turns out good and we go and come back safely. I also wanted to write and let everyone know that today is the last Blogmas of 2013 and I wanted to use this moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Blogmas Day 17: The Vet

I had a feeling that today would be a long day because we had to take my dog to the vet. Behold not only did it feel long it was also stressful. My dog is a bit more than 13 years old so it's completely normal to have to go to the vet multiple times a year. Well, he has a bad heart so there are many complications which he needs medicine for. We had to get a permit in order to take him out of the country which means getting vaccinations, because of his heart he gets bloated and he has to get drained of liquids that build up in his abdomen, legs, and at times his face. Today we took him in because his awesome vet advised us to get him drained (tapped) before leaving in order for him to be comfortable during the trip, unfortunately she wasn't the vet on call today so he got everything done by another vet who I don't really care for because he isn't as careful with my dog and takes a long time doing procedures. Usually it would take 15 minutes or less to get tapped, with this vet we had to leave our dog at the vets for an hour in order to let them work on him. Not only did they not call us to pick him up an hour later, but they also went on their two hour lunch break meaning our dog was stuck in a cage for more than four hours before we got to take him home. And the vet wanted to speak to me to let me know that my dog will die soon, which we already know can happen any day now because of his condition, but my dog has been "ready to die" this whole year so the fact that this vet was acting as if my dog had to be put down made me mad. Our regular vet knows my dog already and she knows that he is sick, but isn't sick enough to be put down because he is a fighter ( in fact he is known as the grumpy one). After having to listen to the vet's comments about my dog, I came home and boy was my dog mad at me. He didn't let me touch him for hours, I felt so bad. I wish I could have been with him the entire time he was at the vets, he was probably scared and sad and hungry. This was the third time I had to leave him at the vets office and although the first time was the hardest because I had never left him there by himself, this time was horrible because I didn't know why they were taking forever and I knew this vet was going to do something I wouldn't like (maybe even without consent). I was just afraid and praying my dog wasn't as stressed out as I was as I waited to pick him up, he probably felt very lonely.
I would write more but as you can tell I am to upset to write anything else. I only have one more day before we hit the road so I might stop doing Blogmas tomorrow because I still have a lot to do and might not be able to sit down and write some scheduled posts.
We shall see,
Mabel

Blogmas Day 16: Packing

During these last few days, I begin wearing clothes that I plan on leaving behind. Today I'm wearing an old ripped and stained shirt and a pair of comfy sweats...
I finished packing so I know what I can and cannot wear in these last two days. I still need to pack my makeup and then figure out what I'm going to take as entertainment while on the road.
Today I went to a few stores with my dad to buy a few more Christmas presents for our family in Mexico. I watched a movie with my brother today. And once my sister got home from work I went to Target and Walmart for a few pieces of clothes she needed. She also bought me a nice pair of yoga pants that were $10 and a nice shirt that we found on the clearance rack that I plan on wearing on Christmas. At Walmart we got a duffle bag each for our clothes, I managed to get all my clothes in it and still had extra room.
I'm just hoping that I don't forget anything because that would suck. The Internet stopped working on my iPod this afternoon so I just got to watch YouTube videos, I still haven't caught up to all the videos I missed and am missing since finals week. So, I hope I can catch up before I leave because once I get back it will be worse.

Blogmas Day 15: Buns of Steal

Today consisted of a lot of walking. We went to church early in the morning and then went to buy breakfast. After eating, my dad, sister, and I went to the swapmeet and it was packed. We walked so much and we had so many bags that we had to help each other out the entire time, by the time we were about to finish my sister decided to take the bags to the car while we finished looking. Once we got what we needed we headed home and rested for a bit. Then we went to the market to buy a few groceries since we won't be here all week, we also looked for clothes with my mom and bought her a few things. It was all the girls in Walmart, my mom, my two sisters, and I. Once we got out we went to buy Honey Boba and then headed to buy dinner, KFC. We dropped off my sister and my mom since my sister needed to pick up my nephews and go home to say goodbye to her mother-in-law before she went on vacation. My older sister and I went to put gas in the family car and then came back, unloaded the car and feed everyone. Once everyone ate my sister, mom, brother, and I headed to K-mart to look for pants for my mom, we didn't find any so we went to a nearby plus size boutique where we found 3 pairs for her. Then we headed to the 99 cents only store and bought a few more necessities and travel stuff. Then we went to another 99 to buy toilet paper. We finally came home and unloaded the car before resting. My sister and I just finished watching the mid-season finale of Once Upon a Time, it was good, but I can't believe it's gonna come back until March of next year, wtf?!? So now I'm going to play a few games or watch YouTube videos and then go take a shower later.
Hope your weekend was peaceful,
Mabel

Blogmas: Friday the 13th & Saturday Shopping

My favorite number is 13 and it's also my favorite day especially if it turns out to be a Friday. When I'm on vacation I tend to forget what day it is so I didn't realize the date until the evening. Nothing bad tends to happen to me it's just another normal day.
I recently got hooked on a game called Campus Life so I've been playing that. I bought four books at the library, but I'll show those later since I might go back.
         *******************************
...and that is where I stopped writing yesterday before taking a shower and knocking out. As I am writing this I am also remembering that I forgot to eat my chocolate from today's little box of my advent calendar, boy is this vacation needed and taking a toll on memory. Well, I bet I jinxed myself yesterday by saying that nothing bad happens to me on any Friday the 13th, I messed up my daily blog streak.
I'm just going to combine today's and yesterday's if you all don't mind. Today was a long day, but at the end it was worth all the time. First of we, meaning my sister and I, went to teach all morning. And like this past weekend we raced, not really, back home got our dog and took him to the vet, we then went to the bank and went back home. After eating a cup of noodles and some bread we went to buy food for everyone in the house including my nephews which meant an hour and a half out getting all the food. We got back home and ate lunch (dinner) and watched "Easy A", well the beginning of the film. Once my sister and I finished eating we went out to buy Christmas presents that she wanted to get everyone in the house. We started at the mall where we made our way to Hot Topic, we were looking for my Christmas present, footie pajamas, but alas all we found was a packed store and a cute array of Disney stuff among other things, like grumpy cat stuffed animals, amazing. We then decided to go to Walmart since we had seen some there and I found the perfect pair there were only two one size medium and an XL, I was disappointed because I wanted a 2XL, I mean the baggier the better right, but my sister convinced me to try them on so I did...
And I fell in love, even more that is, they are purple (my fav. color), they have pockets and a hoodie, and it has zipper rather than buttons. Plus, it feels like I'm being swaddled which feels nice on a cold night, yes I am wearing them as I write this.
We then bought some things for my two brothers and my dad, my sister also bought herself a few things and she bought me a few bras and an awesome backpack which I'll try to post once I start using it. Once we checked out, the line was actually small today (did I already use the word amazing today), we went to Ross to buy my dad t a few polo shirts and find something else for my brother, we found some blue converse for $13.99, score! We then went to buy my mom some hair dye since she wants me to do her hair before we leave, although she wants to wait until sometime this week in order to have nice hair the entire trip. We are going to take her Christmas shopping tomorrow since she is picky and it would be much easier. Anyways, once we got out from Sally's Beauty Supplies we went to Tutti Fruity. Once we got home we called in the unsuspecting victims and gave them their gifts, I think we all loved what we got. We finished watching "Easy A" while eating our frozen yogurt and then just laid down for a bit and watched "Get Him to the Greek". And that was it for today.

Blogmas Day 12: Relax

I made it to the 12th day of Christmas!
I didn't do much today, I just relaxed with my brother today. This weekend is going to be more relaxed because I won't be worried about school work, so although I'm going to be shopping most of the weekend and hanging out with my nephews before going on vacation I will be stress free. So, there will be a lot to do this weekend especially since it's the last weekend before leaving and my siblings who work want to get things before leaving so I'll accompany them to whatever place they go.
I want to go to the library tomorrow afternoon because my local library is going to have a book sale, which would be great to go to since I'm going to get bored on the road and need some sort of entertainment. We'll see if I end up going or not if I do I'll post a book haul tomorrow.
Until then be safe,
Mabel

Blogmas Day 11: Best Day Ever

I just came back from my last final this year and boy am I happy. Today I got to hang out at my brother's house which I haven't done in a while. I studied while he played video games and then I came back home to study some more. I headed to school and took a 26 multiple choice exam which was fast and to the point.
Now I can catch up on all my YouTube subscriptions since I stopped watching them in order to keep myself from procrastinating or being distracted. I'm going to do so many small things like make my planner for next year, make some beanies, watch a few movies and catch up on TV shows, and play games. Also, I can just lay under the covers and relax without worrying about something I have to write or read.
And if any of you still has to work or study or do something during the cold here is a little something to make you smile...

Blogmas Day 10: Almost Done!

Today I finished writing my last essay and turning it in. I also took two final exams meaning I only have one left tomorrow night. I have all day tomorrow to study before my final so I'm not worried about it especially because the final is multiple choice. I am excited that in just a few more hours I can officially be on Winter break. For now I'm going to go to sleep it has been a long day of stressing out.

Goodnight,

Blogmas Day 9: Finals!

It's almost day 10, but I made it before crunch time.
Today was quite different than my regular Mondays this quarter. I usually have Mondays off, but today I had to go to school to take a final and then also go to mass that was honoring catechism teachers.
Let me start off with what I did today. I woke up and finished writing the assignment that is due tomorrow morning. Then I changed and did my hair and makeup. Then I went to school for my final which was scheduled for today instead of the usual early Wednesday. I finished in less than 30 minutes because I already knew most of the answers and the essay question at the end was about the same topic I wrote about on my 12 page essay (awesome). I came back home and freaked out for a second because I thought I had lost my flash drive which has all my work including the two essay I hadn't turned in, but I found it on my sister's bed so I was happy. I got them printed so now I'm fine if the flash drive gets lost (just kidding, losing things is not fine). I ate some awesome spaghetti and Hawaiian sweet rolls then I tried studying for tomorrow's morning final, but failed, both because it was too cold and because my sister came home and turned on the TV. Then I went to church for a bit more than an hour since I had to go early. Once I came home I gave up on trying to study and just laid under the covers (bad idea). I just came back from my shower and before going to sleep, I am laying here typing this out on my iPod.
Tomorrow is the last hectic day since I have to be at school a bit after 10 am to take a final I didn't study for which isn't multiple choice (terrifying), then I have more than 7 hours depending on when I finish my final to write a 5 page paper, and then I have to go to class turn in that paper and take my final (luckily it is multiple choice). After that I'm worry free even though I have my last final Thursday night (I have all morning to study especially since I already finished my essay for that class). I'm excited even though tomorrow will be to say the least hectic,  I mean worst case scenario is I die, right?
Thanks for reading,
Mabel

Blogmas Day 8: Nonstop Work

Hey there everyone, get ready for another lengthy post. I had a long day today it seems as if I didn't get everything I wanted to do done today, but here is what I did end up doing.

To start of the day I woke up around 7, changed, and went to mass with my family, we usually sit outside, but it was to cold so we pilled inside of the building and tried to keep warm. Once mass ended we drove to a nearby carniceria type restaurant and bought some food, to take home of course. After we had all finished our breakfast my dad, sister, brother and I went to a swap meet to look for some things we could take to Mexico or just any deals. My dad bought my brother a sweater that my sister had gotten the week before (its the reason he went with us) and my sister got two sweatpants. We also bought two stuffed monkeys to take to some of the kids in Mexico, because we usually take them something small for Christmas.
Some time after 12 we got back home, my sister and I picked up my mom and went to Walmart where we usually go buy groceries every week. We got all the things we needed and headed to check out, but every register had a huge line so we got in line and no joke we were in line for more than an hour, everyone was complaining and it just sucked. We had to buy a freshly made rotisserie chicken because it was already late and we knew we would get home and the three boys would be hungry. We got out of the store around 3 pm we were so tired, hungry, and thirsty that we decided to buy some Honeyboba before heading home. We all also had to use the restroom so my mom didn't want her own drink.
We got home unloaded the car, used the restroom, and sat down for a few minutes. I sat down because I needed to cut my dog's medication and place it in a container we bought from dollar tree to make it easier for us to give it to him throughout the week. It looks like this...
Yep, we use this for my dog, it's a lot easier because he needs medicine three times a day so having it done beforehand makes the process easier. After placing all his medicine in each container I went to the kitchen to heat up some mac and cheese so my brothers and dad could eat. After they were all fed my mom, sister, and I got into my sister's car this time to go to the 99 cents only store which we always go to after Walmart to buy simple everyday stuff for less money. We went in and it was already getting dark meaning sometime before 5 pm, we got all the things we needed plus some stuff, I got two packs of Christmas lights for my little Christmas trees. Then we drove to a nearby gas station and I put gas in my sister's car, we headed to another 99 cents store that is more generic to buy toilet paper and chips that my brother asked for. Since we hadn't eaten we went to a nearby Chinese food place and bought ourselves some food. After unloading the car we all sat down to eat our food. Once I was done with my food I came onto my bed and wrote one of the papers I was working on yesterday, I actually finished it right at 8. I got to lay down for an hour and watch Once Upon a Time with my sister. At 9 I checked my paper, added and deleted a few things, and then I was actually done.
I have to write two more things before Tuesday, read a few chapters of two books before Tuesday, and I still have to study for all of my finals including for the one I have tomorrow afternoon.
Wish me luck,
Mabel

Blogmas Day 7: Rainy Day

Okay so as I said today brings another late post because weekends are usually hectic. Today it rained all morning, which is awesome because I am probably the only person in the world who loves rain. So, I woke up around 6 am which is an hour early and couldn't fall back asleep even though my eyes were heavy so I just laid in bed with my eyes closed. Once it turned 7 am I got up and did my morning routine which includes going to the restroom and washing my face and brushing my teeth then coming back to my room and changing. My sister and I went to 711, I got a large cup of Peppermint Mocha Hot Chocolate and a Sausage Biscuit, after realizing that we got overcharged and were to early to actually go to church we headed to a nearby donuts shop and bought a donuts. We then headed to church were my sister and I volunteer, after teaching our classes we took another teacher home and headed to our house to get our dog. We had to make it to the vet before 12 pm and it was already past 11:30. Somehow we got there at 11:47 am (I remember because I had to sign in) and then the vet quickly checked our dog to see if the medicine was working which was a mehh, we have to go back again next weekend before going to Mexico just to do all the check ups, procedures, and paperwork so he can go on the road with us.  Then my sister went to the bank while I waited in the car with Lucky (our dog) and read from one of my textbooks in order to cram in some study time. Once we got home we ate a brownie we bought at 711 that morning and resting for less than 30 minutes. Afterwards, my sister and I went to buy lunch for everyone in our house including us which takes more than an hour because everyone wants something from a different fast food place all the time. We came home and I ate my Terriyaki Burger from Carl's Jr. and small order of orange chicken from the Chinese food restaurant my brother wanted food from. We started watching Tangled since it came out on TV I always start watching it and never get past the first few minutes because of constant chores and errands. This time my mother came into the room to let me know that my dad's dentures had broken again (it's been more than 9 times for sure) so my sister took me to Walmart to buy two packs of denture repair kits because they give you pack to repair the broken denture 3 times, but give you a small tube that finishes when you are barely on the second pack of adhesive (it's that company's way of keeping people from buying another product, BASTARDS). So after waiting in the long lines we drove to Daiso Japan (which I love), I bought two small Christmas trees to place in my room in Mexico. Once we got a few things from there we came back home and I spent more than 30 minutes trying to fix his dentures because they are just so messed up already that they don't even stick easily anymore, Boo You Whore! Once I finished with that awful conundrum I came back to my room and started another tedious task which was write a paper for one of my classes, I am still not done, but I know what I want to write now so I am going to do that tomorrow at some point before doing my other two writing assignments, ugh I hate school so bad now. So, now I'm going to go take a shower and then come back to my room and just knock out hopefully.

Blogmas Day 6: Lazy Day

Well hello everyone...
I'm posting a bit later than usual today I have no idea why, but not much happened today so let me just give a rundown of what I did.
Last night I fell asleep around 1am because I always get hooked on YouTube videos and just keep clicking on more suggested videos, so I woke up a few minutes before it turned 10am. After watching a few YouTube videos again (first place I check when I turn on a computer) while eating breakfast. I looked for a movie I plan on writing about for one of my classes.  I laid under the warm covers and watched "Rebel without a Cause". Once I finished watching it my dad came into my room and asked me to go buy some Christmas presents with him. So, I called my brother to come with us because he hasn't picked out any Christmas clothes yet. Once we got to Walmart I went to grab three pairs of pants for my sister I only found two pairs of pants that she wanted in her size so I had to go look for an alternative pair, once I found something her size I got that and went to help my brother find some shirts since he had already picked out two pairs of pants (he later found another pair since my dad knows that my brother rips his jeans fast). My brother ended up finding a bunch of different colors of flannel button ups for $7 so my dad just let him get whatever he wanted. We had to wait in a huge line in order to check out which is the only reason I hate Walmart (I never get in and out of there in less than 30min.  because of their lines). We came back home and I just watched more YouTube videos because I'm addicted. And then once my sister came home I ate a huge salad and watched more YouTube videos with her. Then we watched a Hulu movie called Motherhood with Uma Thurman. Once that was done I went to my brothers' house to hang out with him for about 2 hrs. And now I'm laying on my bed writing for you guys before relaxing with my sister for a few minutes. I take a shower around now and then I try to sleep (I actually try sleeping on Friday and Saturday nights because I have to wake up early the next day).
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day so it might be smart to say that I will be posting late again. Until then be safe.

Blogmas Day 5: Planner

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're enjoying blogmas so far, I think I'm going to make it to the 12 days of Christmas and I might even do the entire 25 days using the schedule setting on blogger while I'm away. While on vacation I plan on making my own planner, because I have A LOT of notebooks, one being a small diary from the 90's that I bought in a 99 cents store near me that recently closed down (which is sad because it had been there since I was small).  I plan on using the small diary using ideas I have floating around in my head and pictures I have found on Pintrest and might even keep looking for.
If I actually do it, I'll try to share it and let everyone know how it went.

Blogmas Day 4: Comfiest Clothes

Since I'm currently in school and will be here all day, I decided to share my first Christmas presents OOTD. Since I wanted to come to school and feel comfortable all day I picked out the two pieces of clothing (jeans and shirt) that I got as Christmas presents to wear, and let me just tell you I am so comfortable and I love what I am wearing. I also decided to actually take some time and do my hair an makeup today, which I rarely do, sadly. So below is my current OOTD...by the way sorry for all the bad pictures and my ugly backgrounds (i.e. the bathroom sinks).

Blogmas Day 3: Music & Essays

Hello Everyone!
I am so excited because I just finished one of my big assignments which I was afraid of doing and was putting off for such a long time that I literally finished a day before it is actually due. It was a 12-15 page paper which I wasn't as excited to write and although I ended up writing 11 pages instead of the 12 minimum, there was a sort of fine print that said it had to be a minimum 3,300 word essay which I surpassed. In order to write this essay without procrastinating as much as usual I decided to break down my time and number of pages and give myself a reward for finishing a page in a certain amount of time.  As you can see below I wrote each hour I had to write this essay and then I wrote that I had to finish a page by the end of that hour in order to do whatever I wrote next to it and if I didn't write that page on time I had to finish both that page and the next page before the next hour was over in order to do one of the two things I had written down. It worked well and I actually finished earlier than I thought I would because by the end it felt like I was playing a game and I was almost at the finish line.

Another factor that helped me write this essay which is my usual little helper when doing work is and was Pandora. I made a new station and I think if you click the hyper-linked Pandora in the previous sentence you can actually see what station it is. If not then, I am listening to, drum roll please... Christmas music! Yes, yesterday I was just so antsy about having to start the essay and I was just silently wishing someone could do it for me so I could go on vacation and imagine all the fun Christmas activities and just fun vacation stuff to be had soon. I am getting giddy just writing about it, soon after all this studying and essay writing is done I'll be on vacation enjoying myself and just hanging out with my family, I fucking love it!!!!! Sorry for the language, but you are now in the hands of Giddy Mabel and believe me when I'm giddy I just have to share my excitement with some sort of curse word (sorry, all in good fun though).
Anyways I think I'm about to just listen to a few more Christmas songs, while writing a to do list so I can quickly and easily finish all of my other assignment before next week.

So Freaking Excited!!!!

Blogmas Day 2: Presents

As I mentioned yesterday, my family and I go on vacation during Christmas break and we go out and buy presents for family members before travelling. Not only do we buy presents for family that lives down in Mexico (which is where we are going), but we buy things for ourselves. To be more exact, my dad buys us our Christmas presents early, he lets us pick out clothes we need. I just came back from a discount store named dd's Discounts (similar to Ross) and picked out three shirts for myself and my sister. This past Saturday we went to a swap-meet nearby that I buy my pants at so my dad bought me four pairs (I wore one yesterday so I don't have a picture, but they are just khaki jeggings exactly like the ones on dailylook). All of the pants were $12 each for plus size, which I am, and regular sizes are just $10. All of the pants I bought are skinny jeans and since I don't have any dark denim or just denim in general I decided to buy three pairs of dark denim skinny jeans, which all have great characteristics.
Live For Love baseball T $9.99, Green long sleeved button-down  $5.49, Hipster Skulls baseball T $8.99
Skinny Jeans: $12 each
My favorite shirt is the baseball T I'm calling the "Hipster Skulls", it's very soft and the combination of the colors is awesome, also the images are my favorite. I really enjoy baseball t's so when I found these I didn't even think twice about getting them. There was another baseball T that I didn't get, but it was long and it said "Keep calm and Twerk on" which I probably wouldn't wear so I passed that shirt up. There were a lot of great shirts, sweaters, and boots that I would have bought for myself, but I limited myself because I don't want to cram more things into my already full closet.
*******
This is my last week of school before finals so I am trying to finish up on assignments that need to be turned in soon, that's going to be stressful and then I have to study for finals so I hope I can finish everything on time. Once I'm done I'm going to be so happy, I just keep reminding myself that I'll be on vacation soon, but then that just makes me want to stop everything and not do any work.

Vacation will come soon enough,
Mabel

Blogmas: Advent

Hello everyone,
Because of the upcoming holiday (Christmas to be exact), I decided to do the equivalent to vlogmas, I will be doing Blogmas! I might not do all 24/25 days of Blogmas because I will be traveling soon and I won't have an Internet connection, but I am sure that I can accomplish the "12 days of Christmas" version of Blogmas.
To kick of Blogmas I want to share my little advent calendar which I already opened a few minutes ago. As you can see in the picture above, the advent calendar is full of 24 different chocolates for every day before Christmas Day.

My family and I are preparing to go on our Christmas vacation so we went to a swap-meet  to look for anything we could buy as presents for some of our family members. There is a vendor who always sells and makes pillows so my sister bought herself a pillow and bought me the one below (small pillows are $1).

After walking around in the sun for a while we came back home, my head has hurt since then (meaning all day). A few minutes after getting home we went grocery shopping which seems to consume most of the day. And now I am laying in bed hoping my headache will go away and waiting for Once Upon a Time to come on.
I hope Blogmas is a success and other people join in. Will write tomorrow,
Mabel

Good Comments

Sometimes doing something creative or relaxing is hard to do when there is so much to do or a lot of things on my mind so, last week I was inspired to do my nails. After sitting down and painting my nails I had to do some chores and then this happened...

Yup, the nail polish rubbed off of my ring finger, the two fingers next to it messed up slightly, but I fixed those easily. So, I have been walking around for a whole week with one finger that needs new polish.

Even though the one nail isn't what I want, while out buying groceries and other tidbits I stopped at a Juice It Up and the cashier said she liked my nails. And sometimes small comments like that make my day and others' day a little better.
Letting people know that something is appreciated, beautiful, nice, etc., is something I do often and enjoy when I receive similar comments. So, sometime this week, month, year, lifetime, whenever possible just let a stranger or a loved one know how much you enjoy or love something they have or are doing (who knows you can brighten up someone's day with such a small comment that takes little time to say).

Hope everyone is doing well,
Mabel

Organizational Deco.

I have currently been in a decorative mood, maybe it's the season, maybe it's just fun, or the most probable reason is because it's my form of procrastination. This weekend I cleaned out the bottom of my closet along with a space I have that I keep my things on, so I decided to share some (bad quality) pictures of what it all looks like now.
I first tackled my closet, which had a bunch of clothes and baskets scattered all over the place, it is all now neatly stacked. The baskets are gone and the clothes are pilled on top of my scarf/hat box, I am sharing my side of the closet with my sister so I need to figure out how to hang my leftover clothes in there.
Above is my little spot that is now nice and neat. I placed some of my makeup in those little stackable containers which I got at my local 99 cents only store, but I have seen them in all different kinds of discount stores. Some brushes and new makeup items are in the big cookie tin box for now and the black bag next to that has lip products and random makeup that I haven't found a nice place for just yet.

I don't have my own room or a huge space that I can place all my things on, but if I did I feel like I would definitely decorate the s*** out of my room. So, even though there are no cute decorations in my room or anywhere in this  post I hope you enjoyed. I would love to read blogs that deal with cute organization and/or decoration so let me know of any blogs that you know of or actually write yourself.
Bye for now,
Mabel

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year and although I didn't do anything halloween related or had plans to do anything I decided to do a bit of dressing up. I didn't want this day to come and go and find myself depressed for not having enjoyed a day when you're allowed to look awkward, weird, scary, or just out of the ordinary. So, here are the pictures I took of my "costume"....

This look was inspired by a picture I found on Pinterest and after looking up "deer costume" on YouTube and finding the same person recreating the look I decided to use the video as a guideline as to what I could do (I used makeup I already had to recreate the look, I have a foundation that is too dark for my skin that I used and then everything else is eyeshadow and eyeliner). Here is the Pinterest picture I used...
I have a picture of me on Instagram (@friendlvr) of my complete makeup and hair if you want to see how it turned out. I hope you enjoyed my costume, what were you for Halloween let me know in the comment section below.

Sibling Tag

Last week I wanted to try something different, so I sat down and made a little impromptu video with my brother. It took a while to edit using software I don't really use and there are things I could have done better, but with that being said below is the link to the video I filmed.

Change my Outfit

Okay so there are times (almost all the time) that I find a piece of clothing in my closet that is hard to style or can only be styled with specific colors. So, I need my readers to help me figure out what I can wear. Here are the pants I am wearing, leopard skinny jeans, what would you wear with these?
You probably can't see it correctly so here is a close up of the fabric...
Have fun creating an outfit with this piece of clothing in my closet. Feel free to leave a comment linking me to your own blog, picture, or any other format you use to make an outfit using these pants.

Fall Campus OOTD

So today I only had one class and before coming to school I was working on an assignment that was due today (queen of procrastination here) so I just wanted to wear something comfortable... This is what I came up with...
I was going to do a side braid, but it wouldn't stick so I just made a side bun with some hair twisted at the front to keep it out of the way.
It's been a long time since I wore this shirt, which I used to use as a pajama top because it is long and very comfortable. I love how soft, and thin and cute it looks with any pair of bottoms.
Speaking of bottoms...this is what the bottom half of my body looks liked today.
This is the only jewelry that I am wearing today (in fact I never take these bracelets off anymore: I just got the black one this weekend).

I hope all of you are having a great day today/this week.
Mabel

P.s. I'm sitting under the sun at a bus stop writing this so I'm sorry if there are a large amount of spelling errors, I can't really see my iPod's screen.

P.P. S. About 10 more minutes before my bus arrives. Actually, this might get posted a few minutes after getting home because I don't have WiFi at the moment.  :/

P.p.p.s. It's been a very long time since I wrote a letter and added P. S. at the bottom, it's quite fun.

Bye bye for now (:

School bag

Hello everyone, today I wanted to share my deal of the week... A $2 book bag!
I went to a swap meet this past Sunday and found this bag for what I heard was just a dollar which was a steal, but once I went to pay was told it was $2 (either way a good price). I love big bags because I can fit all my school supplies in it and have room to place my lunch/dinner inside. I also love this bag because it is a cross body bag, which is great for a bag that tends to be heavy in the mornings. Also, it had beautiful colors and a beautiful design all around the bag which just makes it that much better.
Anyways, I'm just waiting for my first class to start for today (40minutes to go). It's a bit cold today so I decided to wear some comfy clothes including a gray shirt with a hoodie under this comfy maroon sweater...
I love days like this, especially since it looks like it will rain. I hope everyone else is having or will have a good day and I'll write soon.

2 Firsts!

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great first day of the month, October starts off the 3 months of fun holidays. I've always been a fan of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, along with New Years more than any other holidays, maybe it's because of all the good food and time that people take to talk to one another and being around family, or maybe it's because of all the wonderful decorations and costumes some of these holidays have.
Anyways, today is also the first day of school for me which is great after being stuck at home for roughly 3 months. I am currently on break, my class begins in about an hour. Below is a picture I took after eating lunch while watching some YouTube videos...
I only have 4 classes this quarter (full time student) and each class only meets once a week so I only come to school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I have the same schedule on each day, which is great. I have enough time to do schoolwork, plan lessons for a Saturday class that I teach, and hopefully it leaves me time to update my blog, at least once a week. (So exciting!)
So, thank you to everyone who stayed around while I was on vacation and I hope you enjoy the new layout.

Passing On

My vacations never are relaxing. I wish they were and I wish I could do more things with all this free time, but sometimes things turn out differently.
I was going to start writing daily with what I had done each day, but things came up and I didn't want to do much. Here is a recap of what happened...

In mid-July my family found out that my uncle had a tumor that he had surgery on after being told by doctors not to touch it. The tumor came back and he had to go through radiation for a large number of days. We were told that he stopped eating and he was very frail so my dad decided to go see him and try to help in any way possible. He left on the 30th of July at 8am, my sister and I took him to the airport around 4am. After coming home and resting for a few hours we went out and did a bunch of errands. That same afternoon one of my closest friends called me because her father had passed away. It was devistating, her father had been in the hospital for a few days, but he always got better so I thought he was going to be okay this time again. I'm not going to share all the details about his death, but it was sudden. My friend's birthday was August 1st and her dad and her were planning out a few party ideas which never actually occurred. This past Monday we occampanied her family to take her father to his final resting place. It's hard to deal with death especially when you have to be strong for someone else and show them that you care and are there for them. Yesterday, my family and I found out through Facebook that my uncle had passed away, my father hasn't called to let us know and I'm sure he is very occupied since all of his brothers and sisters had to travel to get to where my uncle lives. My dad doesn't have a cellphone or anything of that sort so, he only called once letting us know he would be staying for 3 weeks and he would call when he could. So right now all we can do is wait and see what happens next.
As I said vacations are never planned because something always occurs and I just have to go with it. Hopefully these next few weeks are better and I can actually relax for a few weeks before going back to school and being stressed out all over again.

A Walk in the Park

So yesterday I ended up watching the show I talked about and downloading a new app, a calendar app named "Cal" I love how it looks. Then after watching the soap opera my nephews came over around 7:45pm. We just hung out a while and talked about Halloween costumes since my nephew is already picking out a costume, we love dressing up. Then at 8pm I tried to watch "Who's Line is it Anyway?", and then we talked with my sister and nephew as another show was on. My sister left around 9:30pm since my nephew was getting tired. I then watched a few videos of grav3yardgirl on YouTube since my sister and I were talking about her As Seen on TV videos.
Today I woke up somewhere around 9am and watched TV for a bit before going to the market with my sister. My mom had planned on making tamales today so we went to buy the ingredients, we also went to buy a few things in order for us to wash my sister's car. Once we came home I ate breakfast (which was leftover cake from my birthday, July 13). I know very unhealthy, but the cereal I planned on eating was gross so I ate the next best thing that I could find that would go with a glass of milk. Anyways, afterwards I tried helping my sister dry off her car, but since it was really hot her car had huge streaks of water all over the place and we had to wet the car over to try to dry it before the sun could mess it up again. We ended up failing at making it look nice and so we put all the cleaning supplies away. Then I came inside and watched a few YouTube videos and then went next door to my brother's house to watch a movie on Netflix. We couldn't decide what to watch so we used a popup on the Netflix account, we call it Max, and made it look for something we could watch. You can find a video of that on www.keek.com/friendlvr I think the video is called "Overusing Max on Netflix." We ended up watching a Christmas movie from our youth with Arnold "the terminator" (I don't want to butcher the last name). Then I came back to my house and ate some tamales and watched a few more YouTube videos before watching the soap again. There were 10minutes left before the show was over and my parents told us that our dog wanted to go out, since we have started taking him to the park every so often we decided to go to a different park. The park we went to was small, but beautiful to just let him explore. There was a small trail that we saw once we walked past the few trees that the park had and wondered if people were allowed to walk through there. We let our dog walk around the small park and after seeing that two ladies walked up the path we decided to do so as well, the ladies came back quickly so we thought it wouldn't be bad. It was pretty nice I'll post the few pictures I took of it, but as you can see, it was in between houses which made it feel safe and it was really nice and peaceful. After hiking down the small path we went to Ralph's and bought some ice cream for ourselves, I picked an ice cream for my sister since she stayed in the car with our dog. Once we got home we watched 2 episodes of "Hoarders" and ate our treats. Now I am going to go take a shower as everyone sleeps, my dog got so tired he knocked out right when we got home.

Lingerie Hunt

I want to start posting daily blogs of what happened throughout the days using pictures, but I have very bad memory on my iPod which I use for almost everything including my blog updates. Today I basically woke up and ate cereal and then my sister and I took my mom to a billion lingerie stores (my mom was being picky) we had done the same thing yesterday (Monday) and she ended up liking nothing except one type of underwear that only went up to a certain size (not her size). We took more than 3 hours driving around LA and at the end we ended up at the first place we went the day before. We all bought something, we might as well since we spent so much time on this tedious task. I love what I bought which were 3 pairs of underwear and 3 bras for $21.80 in total. It was one of those buy 3 for $10 deals.
We then came home dropped off my mom so she could start dinner and my sister and I went to buy things we needed like toothpaste. We went to tutti fruity since it is a hot day today and we hadn't gone in a while, I would have taken a picture of the masterpiece, but I tend to dig in whenever I am around delicious food. Then we came home and I ate my tutti fruity while watching Youtube videos that were uploaded today. Once I was done with my yogurt and videos I laid down and looked through my iPod since I tend to get a new app every once in a while and end up with no storage, I then have to delete an app that I don't use (I wish I could delete the apps that come with the iPod those never get used). At around 3pm dinner was ready and I only ate two tacos, I still feel full. And now I'm going to wait for it to turn 6pm so my sister and I can watch "Yo Soy Betty la Fea" which is the original Ugly Betty and we just love it. Then I tend to use my iPod or do something to pass the time until it turns 10pm so I can take a shower and then "go to sleep", I tend to fall asleep an hour afterwards.

That's about it. Being on vacation isn't as fun for me, but I keep myself busy. What are you doing during your vacation or during your summer days? Are there any apps that I should download or take a look at? I love apps so PLEASE share the apps with me(:

Hot Summer and Kids

It's going to be hot these upcoming days and it started yesterday. Everyone is feeling it today. My nephews have been sleeping over since Monday so I have been looking after them. Yesterday I tried on the makeup that I was sent and I liked the products and I want to let all of you know why and how you can get them so once I get a little alone time I'll write a post about it.

Summer Break

Hello everyone!
I am back on vacation, I have actually been on vacation since this past week, but decided to give myself a little break before I started writing on here again.
This quarter was hectic, I was always working on something and helping other classmates out so I rarely had time to relax and just think. I went to school to finish some final work on Thursday, June 13 and the following day I went back to school for my brother and sister's graduation. I got my grades this past Wednesday and I passed all my classes which felt great because I worked so hard to get what I got.
Anyways, I am going to start writing again during my break and I'm going to try to do more daily doses of my life so I'll have something to write about. I will be doing a few reviews on some products I received from Mary Kay (influenster) so look out for that.
I'm about to go look for the Candyland board game since I am currently babysitting my nephews and Brian (the youngest) wants to play it.
Will write soon,
Mabel

My Horoscope

Two posts in one day, can you tell how much I miss writing on here.
So after that last post I found this weekly horoscope and it seemed to fit.
Thought I should share.
Bye bye for now (:

It's all Too Much

Hello everyone!
So, I just wanted to update my blog right now because I feel like writing and not think about all my schoolwork.
I am currently in Spring quarter, which is my least favorite quarter since it feels like you haven't had a break in a very long time and there are no free days (holidays). To make matters worse I go to school every single weekday and the work is just pilling up.
I have two classes that also require I go to lab which means that I'm basically putting all my time and effort into those classes and it's really hard to want to go to school.
For one of those classes we have to film a scene from a sitcom and get professional actors. I held auditions yesterday and only 9 people came out of all the people I emailed/called. Four actors said they had to reschedule and so since I have time today I told them I could hold auditions for them today. The problem now is that they haven't answered me back so I might not even have auditions today which is a problem because none of the actors that I wanted to cast as my main lead came yesterday. My production day is next week and I wanted to get people by this Friday because I want to have rehearsals on Friday. So, I am just a sad panda, and I am just drained and feel like not doing anything because people don't even want to cooperate.
Also, the other class that I have a lab for is starting to get hard because we need to interview people for a story and my group hasn't even met to talk about it. I also don't have a camera to use and so I tried getting one from my school, but they got a new system and so now I have to make a copy of my ID and fill out a form. My ID doesn't really work so I am having to deal with that. One of my teammates said she has a camera so I might end up using hers since she wants to come help me interview my sister. So, now I have to set up the interview and see where I am going to film it and then tell my teammate and then see who else we can interview and OMG I am just stressed out. I also have two other classes where I need to write briefs and then read my textbook so I have to make time for that.
Plus, I teach on Saturday mornings so I have to do things for that and make lessons and then just take my time to go and teach. I just feel like I don't have any time for anything and I am feeling soooo lazy right now that I just feel like quitting and going to a remote location and just sitting there relaxing all day and night and doing nothing that I have to think hard about.
OH PLEASE COME FASTER VACATION!!!!
Anyways, I'm sorry for this long rant, but once all of this is over I am going to be back here being the normal me. Let me know if you would like to hear more random rants because let me tell you I feel like this blog can turn into the best diary that I have never had.
I'm off to do more work.

March Update!

1. What was the funniest thing that happened to you this month?
During my break I got to watch a lot of videos with my brother some of which were on YouTube. Recently the Harlem Shake has been blowing up on the internet and my brother showed me one of the best Harlem Shake videos I have ever seen. I laughed so hard and wanted to watch it over and over again so without further a due here is the funniest thing I saw this month...

2. What books did you read?
This month I didn't get to read any books because I was focusing on my school work. I do have books that I want to read so, I hope I can do that very soon.

3. Favorite movies/shows that you watched?
I started watching Stranded on SyFy with my sister and I love it, I basically love anything on the SyFy channel.

4. Something that made you proud of yourself?
I teach a catechism class and my parish was going to do an egg hunt for the students the Saturday before Palm Sunday since we didn't have class the day before Easter (Spring Break) and I made over 40 candy bags for the students in my sister and my class.

5. What video games did you play?
I still played Plants v. Zombies because I haven't unlocked all the mini games and I want to buy everything in Crazy Dave's shop because of the trophies, this is a game that I'm gonna be playing in my spare time no matter what. During the last few days of Spring Break I started playing Words with Friends with my sister and brother nonstop, I had to stop this week since I'm back in school.

6. Did you travel anywhere?
This month I didn't travel as most Spring Breakers do.

7. What food did you try and really love?
In the beginning of the month I tried the Earth's Best Organic Letter of the day Cookies in Oatmeal Cinnamon and Very Vanilla. They were delicious and they were only $1. I tried a bunch of new candy, but I forgot what they were, but I loved them I think they were some sort of sour candy most probable jelly beans.

8. Favorite beauty/fashion products?
I am recently using two face washes and I plan on reviewing them sometime after I see how they are working for me. One of them is the Clean and Clear Morning Burst face wash which I use every morning. At night I use a Noxzema knock off, I have used the real one and they are exactly the same thing. I got the Noxzema knock off at the 99 cents only store, it is the Personal Care Deep Cleansing Skin Cream, I got a 12 oz. container for $1. Also, I bought a concealer while I was in Mexico during Christmas break, it is from the Bissu cosmetics line and I love it (I also have one of their powders) it is in the form of a lipstick, I use #6 in the color tan.

9. What did you learn this month?
This month I learned that procrastinating is bad and can hurt me if I let my procrastination get the best of me. I am now going to try and do everything I need to do for school ahead of time. Let's hope I can do it.

Week off Thursday

Today I watched a couple of movies and TV shows with two of my older siblings, which I have been doing a lot these couple of days. I have been wanting to fix my closet once again, but this time I wanted to make it more spring/summer appropriate. So at around 5pm I took everything out of my closet and drawers and figured out what I was going to hang in my closet. I decided to leave a couple of sweaters in my closet and put the rest away it resulted in a bigger closet space. I then looked at pants I rarely wear or pants that don't fit me at the moment, I also put those away. I now have a closet full of T-shirts (plenty of which I have to get rid of or put away somewhere else), I have a few pairs of pants, I have sweaters that I wear often and vests that I plan on wearing. Tomorrow I plan on cleaning the containers I keep next to my bed and maybe throwing away some shoes. I planned on reading a book during my break, but I haven't been able to find a quiet spot to read so I'll have to do that some time soon.

Delay

So I finished all but one final as of today and I'm ready to relax and then I realize that I still have a 10 page paper to finish. I hope I can finish it today because being at school tends to give me a little push to actually do things. So, I wanted to post something before I started writing something that stresses me out. If I don't finish today I will be trying hard to finish it tomorrow.
I need to visit the library anyways, why not kill to birds with one stone. Either way, I don't want to put more time and effort in one paper so I want to finish soon.

Back to our Regularly Scheduled Programming

I have two more finals left before going on Spring Break, one tonight and one tomorrow morning. I also have a take home final that I need to write and turn in tomorrow afternoon which is fine by me since it isn't hard to do. Also, Travis Smilie is going to be our guest speaker tomorrow evening so that is going to be an interesting beginning to my mini-vacation.
Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know that because of the small break I can finally begin to post regularly on my blog. I have a feeling that I won't have time to do that next quarter so I want to update as much as possible.
Next post tomorrow during my long break between classes, it's going to be longer than an 8 hrs break. I might post a lot if I get bored so watch out for that.
Also, I constantly update my Instagram, Twitter, and Keek. My username for all of those websites is @friendlvr. Follow me if you want to know what I'm doing on my spare time.

February Update

Hello Everyone!
As many of you may know I am a college student and I don't post here regularly because I'm busy with school. So, I thought it would be nice to have at least one thing that I do every month just in case I don't get to post for a while. I got the idea from WonderlandWardrobe, if you visit Kalel Kitten's YouTube channel she started posting monthly updates which are just nine questions she answers each month (the questions never change, the answers do). I will be answering the same questions every month as a blog post just to keep something consistent. So here goes the first monthly update...

1. What was the funniest thing that happened to you this month?
This is taking me a while to figure out, I answered every other question already and I still can't remember a specific thing that made me laugh.  Whenever I am with my brother he tends to make funny faces and voices and it makes me laugh so I'll have to say that since I can't really remember a specific moment. I have a video where he does something funny, but I can't really post it.

2. What books did you read?
As I said in a recent post I didn't want to start reading books for myself because I wanted to work on my schoolwork, but I was to excited and decided to look on iTunes for a free book. I found one that had a title that caught my attention Kidnapped the Wrong Sister by Marie Kelly so I downloaded it. Let me just say when I saw it on my iPod's iTunes the book's cover wasn't there so I thought it was going to be some sort of a mystery, but it wasn't. I read it, but I didn't like it. It was an easy read, but the story wasn't great (it seems like any other romance novel). I went to the library last week and borrowed a book, but I haven't had time to read it yet.

3. Favorite movies/shows that you watched?
My sister and I have been craving to watch The Princess Diaries so we looked around for a while and finally found both movies (part 1 &2) in a collectors edition that included a Blue-ray disc. We ended up watching both in one day (I love the first film).
*Side Note: Congrats to Anne Hathaway for her Oscar win and to everyone else. Who else watched the Oscars? What was your favorite part? I loved the skits (flying nun), and when Seth MacFarlane did the "We saw your boobs" song, Jennifer Lawrence had the best reaction...
Anyways, I also watch films in my classes and one of the films we recently watched that I enjoyed was American Beauty.

4. Something that made you proud of yourself?
I am working with my group to make a PowerPoint presentation for this Monday and I love how it looks. I feel great about it, I feel so good when I am productive.

5. What video games did you play?
There are two games I got hooked on this month and I stopped playing because of school. They are Plants Vs. Zombies and Candy Crush. Credits have already rolled on Plants Vs. Zombies (it only took me 2 days to finish it, I didn't play it all the time though) now I just have to do the puzzles and mini games and get the trophies. I haven't played Candy Crush recently, but I am currently on level 29.

6. Did you travel anywhere?
This month I didn't travel, hopefully I will soon.

7. What food did you try and really love?

I recently encountered Veggie Straws which were so delicious, I got both the Veggie Chips and Straws, but someone in my house ate the Veggie Chips since they were delicious. I ate some of the Veggie Straws, I can eat an entire bag, it's that good.

8. Favorite beauty/fashion products?
I know I got my Converse at the end of January, but I wore them non-stop this entire month. I wore them with everything and I think I'm never buying any other shoe that isn't these, I love them!

9. What did you learn this month?
This is going to be very weird and maybe even disgusting, but my dog gets sick often since he is old and he was acting weird for a while so my sister looked up what he might have and she told me about anal glands and how some dog owners have to treat that. Well I'm not going to go into that, but I think my sister taught me more than my professors that day.

I hope everyone enjoyed my monthly update and I will be posting one at the end of each month so stay tuned for those. If you want me to add a question to these monthly update posts leave me a comment and I will try to add it to the list.

Winter Quarter ending!

Hello everyone!
I haven't been updating that often because this quarter is ending and I am trying to wrap up on all of my school work. This weekend I have to work on a PowerPoint presentation and a summary about it. Then I have to right three different essays and finally study for finals.
I just wanted to say that I have been reading a lot of blogs in between classes and I wanted to find some new blogs. So, if you have a blog leave me a comment with the web address so I can check it out.
See you guys in about 2 weeks or during my breaks (:

Directors, Bracelets, Library, Apps, & Thrift

Just by the title you can tell I have a lot to say...Let's start off with yesterday.
Wednesdays are usually my long days this quarter and so I didn't want to wake up yesterday morning, dreading the day to follow. I went to my first class and watched a film that was made in Mexico. Usually, I start dosing off whenever my professor starts playing a movie since it is an early class, but surprisingly I didn't dose off at all during the film. Once I got out of that class, I attended an Arts & Craft event where I made three bracelets, two of which we used ribbon and 8 washers to make, the last we just used yarn. (I will post a picture below of how I am stacking my bracelets on one arm.)
After the event I watched some YouTube videos and then decided to eat dinner, which I take from my house. Every Wednesday I take a big bowl of noodles (Souper Meal Picante Shrimp) and eat that for dinner. I had added all the ingredients except the finishing touch into the bowl and went to microwave it. I soon realized that I forgot to add water, but it was to late and I had burned my bowl of noodles and caused some people in the office (where the microwave is located) to laugh at me and cough because of all the smoke. I ended up apologizing, leaving, and telling myself that I wan't going to be able to go back to that office ever again. I ended up smelling like smoke the rest of the evening.
I went to my last class after an hour of wanting to take a shower, and wanting to eat a good meal, and just sitting in front of a TV astonished at what I had just done (I have been eating cup of noodles since I can remember, they are my favorite quick meal and it is so easy to make w/o mistakes, or so I thought). Anyways once I got to class I remembered who was coming to class as our guest speakers, none other than Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, the directors of Little Miss Sunshine and Ruby Sparks and so many other works (commercials and music videos). I enjoyed listening to their experiences in the industry and watching some things they did when they first started. I posted a picture on my instagram, but I will post it again here.
Today I decided to go to the library because I need to watch "To Kill a Mockingbird" for an essay and since I don't have it I borrowed it from the library. I also borrowed a book I started reading last year, but didn't finish because of school (I really love this series: House of Night Series). I also looked at the books that were for sale and bought some, each book is .25 cents so I bought 10. I think I have the first two, (all the books are pictured below) but I wasn't sure.
Once I got out of the library I went to a thrift store that is in between the library and my house. I didn't get anything, but I found a nice faux fur coat that I tried on. It wasn't my size, but I took a picture on a dirty mirror to show you how it looked on. I also took a few pictures of the small thrift store so you can see what I was dealing with, it isn't my favorite thrift store, but it is close to my house.
And finally today I went on an app I have called app gratis where the creators share an app they love with you and you get it for free just for that day. I got it because I wanted to get Plants Vs. Zombies (a game) free, since it usually costs $2.99 or for the HD version $6.99, since the day I got my iPod, so I have been patiently waiting to see if they finally gave me my little wish.  Low and behold, they offered the $2.99 version of Plants vs. Zombies for free today, I mean that is a deal for one of the best games iTunes has to offer. So, GO GET IT NOW AND JUST TRY IT... IT'S FREE!
I am so ecstatic right now that I just can't type anymore, I will post pictures below and then off I go to play one of my favorite games for free (I am super duper giddy right now).
